Mr. Toshifumi Murata, founder of B.U.G Co. ltd., Japan had a working visit at FIMO Center
On 26th February, Mr. Toshifumi Murata and Mr. Tomoaki Yoshii visited FIMO Center. Dr. Nguyen Thi Nhat Thanh and FIMO’s staff attended the meeting.
Mr. Murata was the founder of B.U.G Co. Ltd and several companies and organizations in Japan including Digital Firm, Vision Corporation, IntelligentPad Consortium, Softfront, Sapporo BizCafe, NPO Sapporo IT Front and several other companies.

At the beginning, Mr. Murata introduced his career since he was a master student in Hokkaido University and started B.U.G Co. ltd from which many other companies in Hokkaido were founded. As a project manager and facilitator, Mr. Murata has over 30 years successful expertise on productizing and infiltrating various research and development outputs. He is also managing a national project called as “View Search
Hokkaido” – the project to establish next gen search engine.
From FIMO side, Dr. Nguyen Thi Nhat Thanh and Mr. Bui Sy Nguyen introduced FIMO’s researches and products including land cover studies, air pollution system and the project management software ProjectKit.

Mr. Murata and Mr. Yoshii appreciated FIMO’s researches and the two sides discussed enthusiastically creating business models and products/services from inter-industry collaboration and academia-industry collaboration projects in Vietnam.

The meeting was successful and the two sides agreed about potential collaboration in the future.
